Extra curricular activities
Extra curricular activities include activities organised by Galaxy Coaching such as soccer, dodgeball and drama. We also provide badminton sessions, dance classes, Gaelic Football coaching, a BreakfastClub, P6/7 Curriculum Support Classes and a Waiting Class for P.1 and P.2 children from 2pm – 3pm. Primary 6/7 pupils are offered the experience of a residential educational visit at the Killyleagh Outdoor Education Centre.
A very enjoyable yearly event is our whole school visit to a Pantomime during December/January and singing with the Cross-Border Orchestra of Ireland. We also foster close links with the post-primary schools and various events take place throughout the year.
Children also take part in various externally organised competitions in art and writing and we have had many successes.
As always, we are happy to listen to suggestions from children and parents and will try to facilitate ideas where possible.
